- Create new common spaces on campus where organizations may host events
Communication
- Increase communication with dining services regarding dietary restriction accommodations
- Student body outreach through campus-wide events and boothing
- Ensure that Student Government representatives are present at various meetings on campus to learn what students in Greek, multicultural, political, and all other organizations want to see on their campus
Dining
- Ensure that each vendor on campus has a full lunch option at $5 to make dining on campus as affordable as possible
Finance
- Provide students staying on campus with financial assistance during breaks
- Establish funds that UTD organizations may apply for if they need additional funding to host events
- Establish a grant for UTD graduate students to attend professional conferences
Parking
- Work to change the color allocation of parking spots to ensure that students are satisfied with their possible parking location
- Change color allocation of parking spots to better reflect where students park
Residential Life
- Install printers in the residence halls to ensure easy access
- Develop a sustainability competition between the residence halls to incentivize students to conserve light and water usage
Sustainability
- Give away 100 free bikes, helmets, and bike locks to 100 lucky freshmen that choose to leave their cars at home
- Purchase an "eco coin" at the beginning of each semester for access to reusable to-go boxes and reusable bags at participating auxiliary services on campus
- Use the "eco coin" to receive a 5% discount
- Incorporate a UTD sustainability strategic plan
- Establish a sustainable improvement partnership between SG, housing, and facilities
WEllness
- Increase transportation for students referred to off-campus counseling by partnering with Uber
- Host a "Winter Wellness Week" with a focus on S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder)
- Provide students with accessible, free STI testing on campus
Workshops
- Work in collaboration with the Career Center to develop resume and LinkedIn workshops for all majors
